HybridDigital™ – Class D Amplifier

The C338 utilizes innovative HybridDigital™ technology. This is a self-oscillating Class D amplifier that operates with active negative feedback. It converts the analog, curved input signal into a square-wave signal using pulse-width modulation (PWM). The music information is then contained exclusively in the changing pulse width. Since the power transistors only require two switching states—on or off—HybridDigital™ Class D amplifiers operate extremely efficiently, unlike Class A and B technology, and achieve a power yield of over 90%.

Music streaming via Chromecast and Bluetooth

The C338 features an integrated Chromecast module, which allows you to wirelessly transmit audio data from your phone, tablet, or computer to your stereo system. Millions of music tracks available on the Spotify® app can also be streamed directly to your C338 via Chromecast. Additionally, the built-in Bluetooth® receiver in the amplifier receives music files from your smartphone.
