Product description

The NAD T 758 V3i represents the third – and further improved – generation of this successful and multi-award-winning A/V receiver. With its 4K Ultra HD video, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-X support, along with five individually programmable A/V presets, this AV receiver offers unparalleled possibilities for picture and sound reproduction. Furthermore, the integrated BluOS™ module makes the NAD T 758 V3i a powerful network streamer for high-resolution audio data, including the studio-master format MQA. Also on board is the highly effective Dirac Live® room correction, which uses the included calibrated measurement microphone to ensure a perfect, consistently transparent cinematic experience in any room. The NAD T 758 V3i is controlled via the deliberately minimalist front panel controls, the supplied IR remote control, or the NAD Remote App installed on a smartphone or tablet. Thanks to the unique NAD PowerDrive™ system, the seven integrated power amplifiers deliver a high level of sound performance and full dynamics for music or film soundtracks even under full load. The latest version T 758 V3i also supports Apple AirPlay 2.

BLUOS™-ENABLED 4K ULTRA HD A/V RECEIVER

MDC – Future-proof Modular Design

MDC, short for Modular Design Construction, is NAD's solution to HiFi equipment becoming obsolete too quickly. A/V technologies in particular have been evolving at an ever-increasing pace over the last few decades. Consequently, home theater fans who want to use new file formats, high-speed HDMI connections with higher bandwidth, or additional height channels for surround sound like Dolby Atmos® are forced to regularly replace their A/V receiver or amplifier. NAD's MDC principle provides for all age-sensitive technologies to be integrated onto a high-quality plug-in card that can be quickly and easily replaced with a newer version by a qualified technician. In addition, the MDC modules allow for individual configuration of the corresponding NAD amplifiers.

Numerous Sound Formats

The T 758 V3i decodes popular surround sound formats, including the HD formats Dolby Atmos®, DTS:X, and DTS Master Audio, using the latest generation of high-speed multi-core DSPs. In addition, the receiver supports high-resolution audio formats such as Master Quality Authenticated (MQA), which are included in the BluOS™ system.

Excellent Video Quality

The T 758 V3i supports the latest digital video technologies, including UltraHD video with resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 frames per second with 4:4:4 color space. Analog video sources are also converted to HDMI, allowing them to be easily connected to your flat-screen TV or projector with a single cable. Video processing is then handled by your TV, avoiding unnecessary format conversions, as is the case with numerous other A/V receivers.

Simple Operation

We have developed a very simple user interface for our receivers that is incredibly flexible yet easy to use. Each source component retains the same user-defined settings whenever selected for display. Furthermore, five individually programmable AV presets allow for custom settings for different types of program material (feature films, concerts, classical, etc.), adjusting performance to your taste. The inputs can be named according to your components. If required, the receiver can power a second independent listening zone – the internal surround channel amplifiers are used for this.

Dirac Live® – Software for Room Acoustics and Impulse Response Correction

Dirac Live® is an innovative room correction system whose basic function is to calibrate an audio system to the acoustics of the listening room. However, in addition to adjusting specific frequencies, Dirac Live® uses advanced algorithms to also analyze the impulse response of the played audio signals. This corrects possible deviations between the impulses contained in the original signal and their reproduction, so that the HiFi system sounds more balanced, natural, and spacious. While the NAD M17.2 has the full version of Dirac Live® on board, the other devices with this feature have the "Light" version, which only processes the particularly problematic low frequencies up to 500 Hz. An upgrade to the full version is possible at any time. More information on Dirac Live can be found here.

Apple AirPlay 2

The T758 V3i can be integrated into an Apple network via AirPlay 2 and can then be selected directly as a playback device for your music stream via your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. And if you have Siri voice control activated on your Apple device, a simple "Hey Siri, play the latest Paul McCartney album" or "Hey Siri, play NDR 2" is all it takes, and your NAD HiFi system will start playback immediately.

T 758 V3 Remote App

With the "T 758 V3" app available for iOS, the receiver can be conveniently remote-controlled via Bluetooth® using a smartphone or tablet. In principle, the app is a replacement for the NAD remote control supplied with the receiver.

BluOS™ – Multi-room Streaming in HD Quality

BluOS™ is an innovative, wireless system that allows music to be streamed throughout the house. Its user interface is one of the world's few solutions capable of streaming uncompressed high-resolution 24-bit / 192 kHz music data to players integrated into the network. BluOS™ uses only the local network to transmit music and organize the platform – and is controlled using the BluOS™ app available for smartphones and tablets or a Windows or Mac computer. As BluOS™ is multi-room capable, up to 64 zones can be connected and controlled either synchronously with one audio stream or individually with different programs at different volumes. Bluesound understands numerous file formats from MP3 to MQA Studio Master quality. Whether streaming music services, your own music library on a hard drive, or internet radio – with BluOS™ you always have access to your favorite music throughout the network.

Incidentally, BluOS™ can also be integrated into a number of innovative home automation systems, so that in addition to intelligent control of lighting, heating, and other household technology, the operation of a BluOS™ multi-room system via a smart home panel is also possible. Driver software for systems from manufacturers such as Control4, Crestron, ELAN, iPort, Lutron, Push, RTI, and URC is available for download in the top sub-navigation under the "Smart Home Integration" tab.

MQA – Music in Studio Master Quality

MQA is not a new file format but an innovative way of packaging large music files using complex encoding, efficient compression technology, and a digital signature so that even original studio-master recordings in 24-bit/192 kHz format can be packed into relatively small data packets and made available online. For this purpose, the music data is packed into any container such as ALAC, FLAC, or WAV. When played back via a decoder integrated into BluOS™, the player unpacks the file completely and restores it without loss to its original format, the Studio Master File.

*Note: The T 758 V3i includes a license for Dirac Live Light with the option to upgrade to the full version. Firmware version 2.12.9 or higher is required to activate Dirac Live. Further information on updating your device's firmware can be found here.
