The best of Naim

Thanks to its advanced design, the NAP 250 can be used even at high volumes: its heatsink reacts to increasing volume levels to keep it "cool." Further improvements include balanced XLR connections and a range of technologies derived from Naim's iconic "Statement" amplifier, including eddy-current decoupling between the speaker outputs. It is also equipped with Naim Audio's DR (Discrete Regulator) technology from the Statement to ensure a smooth and stable power supply.

Naim products are both contemporary and timeless. We forgo any unnecessary embellishments in our designs that do not serve to improve performance and, consequently, the sound. The design of the iconic NAP 250 power amplifier is functionally consistent and user-friendly. It is extremely precise and combines simplicity with innovative materials.

Perfect integration into complete systems

The NAP 250 can be connected to all New Classic products, and thanks to a new range of dedicated cables, also to earlier Classic products. Furthermore, it is the ideal partner for the NSC 222 preamp and streamer.

Aluminium and Naim

Our founder, Julian Vereker, immediately recognized the many advantages that aluminium offers as a material for housing Naim's electronic components. He understood that delicate audio components are very sensitive to the effects of magnetic fields, thermal instability, and unwanted vibrations... Where other manufacturers bent thin sheets of steel, Naim used thick aluminium plates.
