As an evolution of Nordost's Blue Heaven USB 2.0, the Heimdall 2 USB 2.0 dramatically elevates your hi-fi system to a whole new level of performance, delivering ones and zeros with the efficiency and care required to maintain proper impedance.

Building on the experience of manufacturing successful products like the Blue Heaven HDMI and USB 2.0 cables, Nordost is able to further refine digital lines through its latest proprietary technology. The Heimdall 2 USB 2.0 consists of 4 x 20 AWG stranded, silver-plated 99.99999% OFC conductors, arranged in a precise, twisted twin-helix design to ensure characteristic impedance, reduce noise, and minimize crosstalk contamination. To increase dielectric properties, the conductors are suspended in Nordost's proprietary FEP Dual Mono-Filament, which has been re-optimized to increase flexibility and mechanical damping. Add a dual-layer silver foil jacket and silver braided shielding, and the Heimdall 2's extreme data transfer speeds exceed USB 2.0 standards.

To raise the stakes even further, the Heimdall 2 USB 2.0 implements mechanically tuned lengths. This technique, used in Nordost's Odin, Norse 2, and Valhalla 2 series, reduces internal microphonics and high-frequency impedance resonances, so you can ultimately enjoy the dynamics, coherence, and balance of live music played in the comfort of your own listening room.
