PURPLE FLARE 3 POWER CORD

When you listen to your system, much of what you hear is attributable to the power cord. The music you enjoy from your hi-fi system is little more than AC current, converted by components to reproduce a melody. The quality of this reproduction is directly determined by the caliber of the power cord that facilitates this transmission of raw power to the device. By simply upgrading the AC power cord in your system, the audible difference is remarkable. Unlike other cables, a power cord does not carry a signal: it conducts AC current. The success of this cable is measured by its ability to deliver a stable, instantaneous current, as well as its ability to reduce the effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequencies (RF) from external sources.

The Purple Flare 3 power cord utilizes Nordost's proven, proprietary, high-speed, low-loss Micro Mono-Filament construction, applied to three 16 AWG OFC conductors, which are then extruded with FEP insulation. This unique cable design provides the crucial foundation for any successful sound system and increases the realism of audio systems.
