A high-quality power supply begins with clean grounding—and the most effective method for this is star-grounding. The QBASE from Quantum QRT offers a seemingly simple, yet technically sophisticated solution for demanding hi-fi and AV systems.

Less is more: By deliberately omitting filters and active circuits, the power path remains as direct and low-loss as possible. The result: an extremely low source impedance. At the same time, targeted impedance matching on the earth conductor ensures that the signal ground of all connected devices is routed in a controlled manner to a defined star point—the central ground terminal marked on the housing. This is where the most sonically important device should be connected.

Sophisticated design: The QBASE is housed in a resonance-optimized aluminum chassis that is not only high-quality in construction, but also contributes to sonic performance. The internal circuit board was deliberately chosen over point-to-point wiring to ensure maximum stability and precision.

Flexibly expandable: Available with four or eight outlets, the QBASE can be supplemented at any time with Qx Purifier modules—for even greater sonic purity.
