The tonearm cable is one of the most important audio cables in an analog system. Therefore, a custom-made, low-capacitance lead is required to maximize the authentic and natural music reproduction that LPs offer.

The Tyr 2 Tonearm Cable + is virtually noiseless, with high transmission speed and maximum bandwidth, thanks to its twisted-pair design, individual shielding, and Nordost's proprietary Dual Mono-Filament technology. It also uses a separately shielded, silver-plated bond wire wrapped in Micro Mono-Filament to minimize interference with the signal. However, the most exciting aspect of this cable design is its revolutionary grounding solution. Nordost has introduced detachable ground whips with Micro Mono-Filament technology, which further eliminate any noise that may occur during signal transmission, regardless of the unique construction of any individual sound system's components.
