The latest development from Consonance is called the WAX Engine and is an advanced version of the already well-known and tested LP 6.3. Minimalist, that is where its drive comes from. A cross of solid aluminum, a dark acrylic plate, a bearing, a flat belt, and a DC motor—that is all the WAX Engine needs. Added to this is a sophisticated damping system, which is achieved via three height-adjustable feet made of a special rubber compound. Combined with the new two-point bearing T88s tonearm (9 inches), it is an incredible vinyl spinner for both beginners and advanced users.

As standard, the WAX Engine is equipped with our new T88s tonearm, which currently has no equal. Here, Shi Hui Liu, founder and developer of Opera, combines a two-point bearing with a ball bearing for the horizontal plane, thus creating an unmistakable sound.

The delivery also includes a 50-hertz strobe disc, an alignment protractor for the tonearm, and a tonearm scale.
