Perfectly single-track on the go

The Ortofon MC Cadenza Mono is, quite simply, THE cartridge for mono vinyl records with micro-grooves (from approx. 1950). A diamond with a sharper cut than is usual for mono cartridges minimizes distracting groove noise on worn and slightly damaged records. The resolution is superior to the spherical styli otherwise common in mono cartridges. A mono generator with only one winding produces an identical signal for both the right and left channels, thus allowing for unrestricted use in a two-channel system.
