Description

The Converto Mk2 is a digital-to-analog preamplifier dedicated to the analog conversion of high-resolution music signals.

Like all Pathos products, the Converto is meticulously handcrafted in our own factory in Vicenza. This is the only way the Pathos developers can ensure that their high quality standards are maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Expensive, strictly selected components, such as the new ESS9018K2M processor, enable conversion up to a resolution of 32-bit / 384 kHz. For corresponding files from a notebook or PC, two suitable USB (Type B) ports are provided on the rear.

Additional digital sources can be connected via two different S/PDIF jacks. Via the analog RCA input on the rear, headphone enthusiasts can listen to the connected source. A low-impedance 6.3mm jack output is available on the front for this purpose. Balanced XLR outputs round off the connectivity options of this surprisingly compact DAC. With its adjustable, zero-feedback, and fully balanced Class A preamp stage, the Converto Mk2 is therefore the quintessential musical all-rounder.
