Would it make sense to operate absolute high-end power amplifiers with ordinary preamplifiers? Certainly not. For this reason, Pathos has created this excellent preamplifier, which is, among other things, a fitting partner for the company's own InPower MK2 mono blocks or for best-in-class active speakers.

The InControl Mk2 features a fully balanced design and uses Tung-Sol ECC803S tubes to guarantee a pure and contoured sound with high gain in pure Class A operation.

By the way, the front-mounted VDF display is the same as the one on the InPol Heritage. Only significantly larger, easier to read, and equipped with the option to adjust the brightness to your own preferences. The volume can be set with maximum precision using the large aluminum knob. Exactly 100 volume steps promise versatility and comfort.

Naturally, the InControl Mk2 is also delivered with a remote control. Pathos has opted for a universal remote control that can also operate other components, such as their own Converto Mk2. With four RCA and two balanced XLR inputs, this strikingly beautiful preamplifier is versatilely equipped.

Enthusiasts of digital sources can optionally install the high-quality HiDac Mk2 board, which provides an additional four high-end digital inputs.

Pathos has implemented the same high-quality headphone amplifier in its preamplifier that is already used in the Kratos. The dedicated circuit delivers a powerful 2W at 32 ohms, allowing even high-end headphones to be enjoyed adequately.
