The new Pathos InpolEar is designed for the most demanding of headphone enthusiasts. With its proprietary InPol technology and optional streaming functionality, it far exceeds the capabilities of classic headphone amplifiers.

This tube-equipped, fully balanced Class A amplifier even becomes a music machine par excellence via its streaming module, which can be controlled via smartphone or tablet. However, sound fetishists should not be deceived by the beautiful housing of the new InpolEar. Inside the chassis lies the latest evolution of the patented InPol technology.

InPol stands for Inseguitore a Pompa Lineare (Linear Pump Tracker) and is the remarkable circuit that made Pathos famous in the audiophile world. Here, tubes are exclusively responsible for the sound-defining voltage supply, while MOSFETs operating in a zero-feedback, balanced single-ended Class A circuit provide the necessary current.

Headphone enthusiasts will find both a 6.3mm jack and two 4-pin balanced headphone sockets on the front panel. Given the fully balanced circuit design of the InpolEar, these features are both logical and consistent.
On the rear, in addition to various analog connections, there is an extensive range of digital inputs available.

Once the optional digital-to-analog converter is integrated, the InpolEar finally reveals itself to be a captivating music machine – even for audiophile streaming of high-resolution files.
