The Pro-Ject Pre Box RS2 Digital is the big brother of our award-winning and groundbreaking Pre Box S2 Digital. Based on the principles of this design, we have further expanded the range of functions. The result is a fantastic-sounding and very versatile preamplifier with digital and analog inputs. The Pro-Ject Pre Box RS2 Digital is the perfect partner for the crème de la crème of high-end amplifiers and speakers!

The Pre Box RS2 Digital can be connected to the Pro-Ject CD Box RS2 T via a reliable I2S differential bus using the HDMI connection, with the Pre Box RS2 Digital also providing the master clock (16.9344 MHz). This powerful combination makes CDs sound better than ever before.

Very practical: The preamplifier outputs a 12V trigger signal, corresponding to the standby button. Connected via trigger cables, multiple RS2-line devices can be conveniently switched on and off together with the push of a button on the unit or with the remote control provided with the preamplifier. This function is especially helpful in a bi-amping or tri-amping configuration with RS-line amplifiers. The preamplifier itself can also be switched on and off remotely via a 12V trigger signal.
