The A35.2 is the most powerful amplifier we have designed using our new proprietary UFPD 2 analog Class D amplifier technology.

In fact, an entirely new UFPD 2 power module was developed to provide the power and performance we felt necessary for such a statement stereo amplifier.

As a result, a completely new power supply was developed, with custom-wound transformers, to provide the immense electrical power the amplifier module requires to produce the immense musical power of which it is capable.

With this critical circuitry, the A35.2 is able to provide instantaneous and sustained high power output with very low distortion, instantaneous rise time, and absolute linear amplification across the entire bandwidth, resulting in a naturally fast, clean, and agile sound over an ultra-wide frequency range and with exceptional headroom.

The A35.2 features balanced inputs and 200 watts of power output into 8 ohms, with the ability to be bridged to mono for 800 watts of power output into 8 ohms. With this truly enormous power output, the A35.2 is capable of driving even the most demanding stereo speakers or creating an incredibly powerful multi-channel system array.

The Scandinavian look

We believe that every aspect of our products – the way they look, the satisfying feel of the controls – contributes to the overall experience of living with Primare. As a result, Primare products exude the hallmarks of Scandinavian design – simple, elegant design with approachable and easy-to-understand functionality.
An example of this is the standby button discreetly placed in the Primare logo on the front panel of our R15, R35, and A35.2 models – or as we say, lagom, not too much, not too little, everything in balance, proportion, and harmony.

Modular design and system building
We believe it is essential to offer modularity whenever possible, in order to have exactly the right features, both now and in the future. The I25 and I35 integrated amplifiers and the PRE35 preamplifier are modular, all of which can be updated with DAC and Prisma modules, as can the CD35 CD player, to which the Prisma module can be added, either at the time of purchase or at a later date. As a result, we are able to offer a carefully considered range of models and configurations to allow for a choice of devices that best suits any system need. The A35.2 is the obvious partner for the PRE35 in its various configurations, and although it is not modular itself, it offers a range of configuration options to meet system requirements, either as a single stereo amplifier or as a pair for use in bi-amping or in bridged mono mode for 800 watts of pure power per channel.
