The CD35 is an award-winning full-size modular CD player with exceptional capabilities, a state-of-the-art low-resonance dedicated CD drive, and a highly sophisticated digital-to-analog converter stage that can add full Prisma network technology at any time.

Technology
All components of the CD35 – the drive, the DAC, and the output stage – work together in balance and harmony, contributing to the best CD player Primare has ever offered.

At the heart of the CD35 is a state-of-the-art TEAC dedicated CD drive that delivers a jitter-free digital signal to an all-new DAC stage and on to a finely tuned output stage.

The modular design allows an SM35 Prisma network connectivity and control technology module to be added at any time.

The Scandinavia Look
We believe that every aspect of our products – the way they look, the satisfying feel of the controls – contributes to the overall experience of living with Primare. As a result, Primare products exude the hallmarks of Scandinavian design – simple, elegant design with accessible and easy-to-understand functionality.
An example of this is the carefully crafted control knobs that offer the best tactile feel when used – not too big or too small, too soft or too stiff, nor too close or too far from the front panel surface – or as we say, lagom, not too much, not too little, everything in balance, proportion, and harmony.

Modular Design and System Building
We feel it is important to offer modularity whenever possible to have exactly the right features, both now and in the future. Modular design is featured in the I25 and I35 modular integrated amplifiers, as well as the PRE35 modular preamplifier, all of which can be updated with DAC and Prisma modules, as well as the CD35 CD player, which can have the Prisma module added, either at the time of purchase or at a later date. As a result, we are able to offer a carefully considered range of models and configurations to allow for a choice of units that best fits any system need. For example, a CD35 with a Prisma module installed can be paired with an I35 integrated amplifier, allowing for the separation of analog and digital stages. Or, an I35 with DAC and Prisma modules installed can be paired with a DD35 CD transport, allowing for multi-room and multi-zone playback from any input, whether analog or digital source.
