PRE35 Prisma – modular preamplifier and network player

PRE35 Prisma combines the DM35 digital-to-analog conversion and SM35 Prisma network player modules within the fully balanced PRE35 preamplifier platform to create an exceptionally versatile system control center.

Technology
The PRE35 Prisma modular preamplifier is an exceptional system control center, providing unprecedented low-noise and distortion-free selection and transmission of any analog input as a result of the carefully crafted, fully balanced circuit design, which benefits from the use of a four-layer main board to achieve the shortest signal path.

In addition to comprehensive input and output options featuring both XLR and RCA connections, the PRE35 Prisma includes both the sophisticated DM35 digital-to-analog converter module and an SM35 Prisma network player module for an exceptionally versatile system control center.

The DM35 is a full-featured digital-to-analog converter stage that enables conversion up to PCM 768kHz/32bit and DSD 256.

When the DM35 module is installed, PRE35 Prisma provides WiSA wireless loudspeaker connectivity for high-performance WiSA-enabled speakers, a unique feature of this high-performance preamplifier.

The look of Scandinavia
We believe that every aspect of our products – the look, the pleasant feel of the controls – contributes to the overall experience of living with Primare. As a result, Primare products exude the hallmarks of Scandinavian design – simple, elegant design with accessible and easy-to-understand functionality.
An example of this is our signature control knob, known throughout the industry for both its appearance and how it feels in the hand when selecting an input or adjusting the volume – or as we say, lagom, not too much, not too little, everything in balance, proportion, and harmony.

Modular design and system building
We believe it is important to offer modularity whenever possible to have exactly the right features, now and in the future. Modular design is featured in the I25 and I35 modular integrated amplifiers as well as the PRE35 modular preamplifier, all of which can be updated with DAC and Prisma modules, as well as the CD35 CD player, which can have the Prisma module added, either at the time of purchase or at a later date. As a result, we are able to offer a carefully considered range of models and configurations to allow for a selection of components that best fits any system need. For example, a CD35 with a Prisma module installed can be paired with an I35 integrated amplifier, allowing for the separation of analog and digital stages. Or an I35 with DAC and Prisma modules installed can be paired with a DD35 CD transport, allowing for multiroom and multizone playback from any input, whether an analog or digital source.
