The transparent acrylic chassis stands on three individually height-adjustable TPE-damped aluminum cones and supports the motor and sub-chassis. The sub-chassis, made of Corian, rests on three magnetic fields. A magnetic sub-chassis suspension system avoids interfering noises that are normally caused by conventional spring mechanisms. A quiet AC motor unit drives the platter via a belt, and the advanced DC motor control ensures perfect speed stability.

The resonance-optimized platter is a sandwich construction consisting of a finely balanced MDF platter and a 4mm thick vinyl mat. A screw-down clamp securely fixes the record in place. The inverted platter bearing consists of a stationary stainless steel axle with a ceramic ball, on which a bushing with a ceramic bearing base rotates.

The Pro-Ject Pick it MC3 cartridge (RRP 599 Euro), available at a lower price in the set with the 6PerspeX Balanced, enables True Balanced signal transmission via the 5-pin mini-XLR output. The Pick it MC3 is a general-purpose cartridge that delivers powerful and dynamic sound, optimized for pop and rock as well as for major orchestral classics. The great advantage of a balanced connection is the ability to remove noise and interference picked up along the way. The Pro-Ject True Balanced cable range offers cables of every class to connect the turntable to the Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B, or Tube Box DS3 B balanced phono preamplifiers.

9 CC EVO Tonearm

The 6PerspeX Balanced features the high-quality 9-inch CC carbon tonearm. It uses an inverted cardanic ABEC 7 quality bearing with four stainless steel tips. This type of bearing is very stable and low-friction, ensuring clear tracking. The tonearm base is made of solid aluminum. You can adjust both the azimuth and the VTA – both of which are crucial for getting the best performance out of your cartridge.

Adaptive anti-skating mechanism: The skating force varies between the inner and outer grooves of the record. Therefore, our anti-skating mechanism adjusts accordingly and always remains optimal.
TPE-damped counterweight: The TPE insert decouples the counterweight from the tonearm and reduces resonances.
Gimbal-mounted 4-point tip bearing: The precise gimbal bearing with 4 stainless steel tips has very low friction and offers excellent stability.
The medium-weight tonearm is excellently suited for any type of cartridge. The conical tonearm tube and headshell are made from one piece of carbon fiber, resulting in high rigidity and low resonance. ABEC 7 quality ball bearings allow the arm tube to move with almost no mechanical resistance. The stylus can thus follow the record groove unhindered.
