A CD player for those who truly want to enjoy music

This player combines classic playback culture with modern technology – and delivers a CD performance characterized by naturalness, composure, and precision. At its heart is a newly developed SUOS DM-3381 Red Book CD-DA drive, designed as a top-loader. The solid aluminum cover and magnetic clamp ensure stable disc guidance and exceptionally smooth rotation – ideal conditions for precise reading.

For signal processing, the newly tuned BlueTiger-88 servo system is employed, which reads even difficult CDs reliably and whisper-quietly. The digital signal is then passed to a high-quality PCM1796 DAC from Texas Instruments, which is prized for its fine resolution and organic, effortless sound.

Particularly appealing is the fully balanced tube output stage featuring two E88CC tubes. It imparts a smooth texture to the sound image without blurring details. Signal output is possible both balanced via XLR and unbalanced via RCA, allowing the player to be easily integrated into a wide variety of systems. Additionally, optical and coaxial digital outputs are available.

The device follows a well-conceived gravity design, in which the central center of gravity ensures high running stability. An easy-to-read LCD display provides information on track, time, and – if available – CD text. A high-quality aluminum remote control rounds off the overall package.
