This special edition turntable celebrating Elvis’ 90th birthday is based on our acclaimed audiophile T2. The elegantly crafted, CNC-machined plinth features the beautiful Elvis logo illuminated by LEDs. The 1.7 kg glass platter ensures a resonance-free design, effectively eliminating the drawbacks associated with plastic or lightweight steel alternatives. Complementing these improvements, specially selected feet effectively isolate the turntable from ambient vibrations near your hi-fi system.

Speed control, motor, and drive

The motor drives a belt system connected to our special ABS & fiberglass sub-platter. This sub-platter is mounted on an ultra-precise main bearing with a tolerance of just 0.001 mm, featuring a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. While most alternative products use unregulated DC motors with large speed fluctuations, the T2 features our proven system of an electronically regulated AC motor with precise speed. The T2 also features electronic speed switching between 33 and 45 RPM. The result is a quiet, stable drive system for the turntable.

The tonearm

The Elvis Turntable features a straight 9-inch one-piece aluminum tonearm combined with a low-friction bearing for absolute precision. In addition to its clean and elegant appearance, the integrated headshell does not cause any additional vibrations and represents a major improvement over other detachable, screwed-on, or glued-on headshells! It is also equipped with our adjustable, spring-based anti-skating mechanism, which extracts the maximum potential from the cartridge.

Included accessories

Included is a super-shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance phono cable specially developed by Pro-Ject – not an off-the-shelf RCA cable. An acrylic dust cover is also included to keep your turntable dust-free when you are not playing records. You will also find a felt mat in the box, which is placed on the platter to provide optimal protection for your records during playback.
