Pro-Ject EVO AS Premium S-Shape Tonearm – 9, 10 and 12 inch

The Pro-Ject EVO AS Premium is a high-quality, high-end tonearm featuring a classic S-shape design, combining sophisticated analog playback with state-of-the-art bearing and manufacturing technology. The specially developed S-shaped aluminum tonearm tube features particularly high internal damping and ensures precise, stable, and low-resonance tracking of the cartridge.

Compared to a straight tonearm, the S-shape construction offers optimized geometry with excellent tracking and reduced groove angle distortion. The SME headshell also allows for quick and convenient swapping of different cartridges. The tonearm tube is secured by a single screw and can be rotated for precise azimuth adjustment.

A special highlight of the EVO AS Premium is the high-quality inverted gimbal Swiss ABEC-7 bearing with four selected stainless steel points. The bearing sits in a solid stainless steel housing, ensuring exceptionally stable and low-friction tonearm movement. The open outer ring prevents unwanted resonances.

The internal and headshell wiring made of high-purity silver ensures high-quality signal transmission. The newly developed TPE-damped counterweight further reduces unwanted resonances and allows for precise adjustment to different cartridges.

VTA and azimuth can be adjusted precisely, while the silicone-damped tonearm lift can be adapted to the specific tonearm height. The Pro-Ject EVO AS Premium is offered in 9, 10, and 12 inches and is available as AS Premium Black as well as AS Premium HG.
