Pro-Ject Phono Box DS3 B

The Pro-Ject Phono Box DS3 B is a high-quality phono preamplifier for MM and MC cartridges, combining audiophile technology with exceptionally extensive adjustment options. Its fully discrete dual-mono design utilizes fully balanced signal processing and passive, discrete RIAA equalization – completely without operational amplifiers. As a result, the Phono Box DS3 B offers exceptionally low-noise, dynamic, and detailed vinyl playback.

A special highlight is the continuously adjustable input impedance from 10 to 1,000 ohms, which allows for very precise matching of MC cartridges in particular. Additionally, four capacitance settings for MM systems and six gain levels from 40 to 65 dB are available. Two turntables can be connected simultaneously, with the respective settings being saved.

The True Balanced Connection enables balanced signal transmission via 5-pin mini XLR or XLR. In addition to the balanced connections, classic RCA inputs and outputs are also available. The solid aluminum chassis provides additional protection for the sensitive phono electronics against external interference.
