Universal & future-proof: High-end preamplifier, D/A converter, headphone amplifier!

The Pre Box RS Digital combines all the features of the DAC Box RS with an extremely linear preamplifier, which features a switchable output stage in both transistor and tube technology. As in all of our top-class digital products, we use the PCM1792 DACs, which are used here in dual-differential mode for ultimate sonic fidelity. As a unique feature, you can alternatively switch to a 32-bit/384kHz converter chip, also from Texas Instruments. The integrated high-quality headphone amplifier also features switchable output impedance to enable optimal matching with any headphone. The Pre Box RS Digital offers 3-dimensional soundstage, perfect micro-dynamic reproduction, and ultimate resolution, with the ability to connect a multitude of digital sources and one analog source. Especially in combination with the Pro-Ject CD Box RS transport, the Pre Box RS Digital can demonstrate its full potential, as a specifically suitable I²S interface (via RJ45) ensures maximum jitter-free playback.
