Pro-Ject Xtension 12 Evolution

The Pro-Ject Xtension 12 Evolution is the high-end flagship of the Xtension series, designed for the most demanding vinyl playback. The massive, resonance-optimized turntable combines an MDF chassis filled with metal granulate with a 10 kg TPE-damped aluminum platter. An additional vinyl mat provides a particularly high-quality contact surface for the record.

The inverted ceramic bearing with magnetic support ensures particularly quiet and precise playback. The three magnetically decoupled feet effectively reduce vibrations, allowing the turntable to operate as if floating above the surface. The electronic drive allows for precise switching between 33, 45, and 78 rpm.

The 12-inch EVO tonearm with high-quality ABEC-7 precision bearings offers an effective tonearm length of 304.8 mm and is designed for cartridges weighing between 4 and 14 g. Depending on the configuration, the Xtension 12 Evolution can be equipped with various tonearms and cartridges. The Sumiko Songbird Low is therefore not inherently part of every Xtension 12 Evolution version, but must be specified for the respective package/configuration.
