The Power Box RS contains a large toroidal transformer with integrated shielding between the primary and secondary winding. This acts as an isolating transformer and prevents interference from the mains power from entering the amplifier. This transformer has significantly higher power reserves than the standard power supply. With its low output impedance, combined with a large capacitor capacity, the Power Box RS provides sufficient power for one stereo or two mono power amplifiers. Note: To avoid the effects of the strong magnetic field, do not place the power supply and amplifier directly on top of each other.

Every amplifier, even a “digital” one, is sensitive to the quality of the supply voltage. Extensive listening tests have shown that the use of linear power supplies has a very positive effect on the sound quality of digital amplifiers.
