The RPM 10 Carbon utilizes an extra-heavy chassis, which is assembled from CNC-machined MDF and resin-coated metal granulate into an extremely heavy sandwich construction. Through a complex heat treatment with a carbon coating, superior resonance immunity is achieved. The extra-heavy chassis is effectively decoupled from the surface by the included Ground it Carbon and its magnetic feet. Two like-poled magnets in the feet make the turntable virtually float. The pins in the feet serve only for centering. Thanks to this unique feature, the turntable is optimally decoupled from the surface. The combination of a polished aluminum platter with integrated TPE damping and vinyl mat, and the inverted ceramic platter bearing, guarantees absolute running smoothness and superior speed stability. The heavy, free-standing motor block also integrates a high-precision motor controller and allows for speed switching between 33 and 45 rpm. The superb 10” cc Evo tonearm features a conical carbon tonearm tube and inverted tonearm bearings, creating perfect conditions for high-quality cartridges. The internal wiring consists of the purest, highly flexible copper. The scope of delivery includes the Ground it Carbon equipment base & a high-quality 5P Connect it CC phono cable with RCA connectors (XLR on request). The matching Cover it 1 acrylic dust cover is available as an accessory.
