The two models in the Pro-Ject Signature line differ in their features and chassis size. The Pro-Ject Signature 10 model is also available as a SuperPack. SuperPacks differ from standard units by including a factory-fitted cartridge. The number in the model designation indicates the length of the installed tonearm. Pro-Ject Audio Signature tonearms are used in 10-inch and 12-inch lengths.

Pro-Ject Signature 10. A cartridge was not fitted at the factory. Music lovers who possess multiple stereo cartridges or an additional mono cartridge that they swap between appreciate the removable headshell with an SME-standard bayonet mount. Mounted on different headshells, changing the cartridge is a matter of seconds. The unipivot tonearm is a great partner for MM cartridges, MC cartridges, and Ortofon SPU N type MC cartridges with a 1/2-inch standard headshell mount. Its 10-inch length further reduces tracking error compared to a 9-inch tonearm, further minimizing tracking distortion. As an alternative to the included headshell, Ortofon SPU cartridges can also be mounted.

Significant mechanical effort ensures absolute smoothness of operation and extremely precise adherence to the target speed: the platter bearing shaft and the tonearm are mounted on a metal subchassis, which is decoupled from the chassis below by a layer of Sorbothane®. An inverted, magnetically supported platter bearing with ceramic surfaces ensures rumble levels near the measurement limit. Two repelling neodymium magnets significantly reduce the weight load of the 10.5 kg TPE*-damped platter on the bearing. This significantly improves the smoothness of the bearing. A record puck improves the contact between the vinyl record and the platter. Magnetic fields in the equipment feet provide effective mechanical decoupling of the entire player from external disturbances.

Exquisite veneers in olive, mahogany, rosewood, and walnut burl, as well as a black piano lacquer finish, make the player an elegant sight.
