As the first product of the next generation of Bluesound devices, the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ sets new standards in its product segment in several respects. Compared to the previous version, the new BluOS™ streaming module features eight times the processing power and four times the memory speed. Furthermore, the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ now supports Dolby Atmos®*, with wireless surround speakers controlled via a dedicated Wi-Fi connection. The control concept has also been revised: the most important functions can now be controlled via a touch panel on the front of the device. Whether for music, movies, or games—the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ creates an impressive stereo and home cinema experience without the need for additional components like an AV receiver or CD player.

SUPERIOR SOUND QUALITY
With high-resolution 24-bit audio processing, eight speaker drivers, and 120 watts of total output power, the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ offers audiophile sound quality with a surprisingly deep and clearly contoured bass foundation, given its compact dimensions. Home cinema fans, in particular, will appreciate that the soundbar can also be wirelessly paired with the PULSE SUB+ for more volume and punch in the low bass. And for the playback of rear surround channels, simply add a pair of PULSE FLEX 2i speakers, which are also wirelessly controlled.
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES
The PULSE SOUNDBAR+ features a brand-new quad-core processor specifically designed to deliver audio data at ultra-fast speeds and in the highest quality. For Bluesound, this technology represents the step into the next BluOS generation. The chipset, developed specifically for music streaming, features four processor cores, making it more powerful than any other processor previously used in streaming speakers.
SPECTACULAR DOLBY ATMOS 3D SOUND
Dolby Atmos® allows for the extremely realistic playback of all Dolby Atmos®-decoded movie soundtracks and music tracks. Furthermore, other audio files can also be reproduced with a wider soundstage in every respect. Three virtualization profiles—Movie, Music, and Late Night—are available for an immersive surround experience. It goes without saying that the timbre of the sound remains as natural as possible throughout the listening environment, regardless of the setting chosen. For the best spatial sound, the SOUNDBAR+ can be expanded with two PULSE FLEX 2i speakers and one PULSE SUB+. But even in solo operation, the soundbar creates a completely new music and movie experience. Dolby Atmos® positions every sound around you, creating a three-dimensional space that transports you into the recording studio or right into the middle of the action, bringing you closer to the artists and actors.
VERSATILE CONNECTIVITY
Almost any audio source can be connected to the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ – a multitude of wireless, digital, and analog connection options are available: TV or game console via HDMI eARC, smartphones or laptops via Apple AirPlay 2 and bi-directional Bluetooth® aptX™ HD, external audio sources via Toslink, RCA, or USB, as well as music streaming services and your own music library wirelessly via our proprietary high-resolution BluOS™ streaming system. Furthermore, this can be upgraded into a multi-room system with up to 63 additional BluOS™ players from Bluesound and other brands, and integrated into numerous professional home automation systems.
BLUOS MUSIC STREAMING
The BluOS™ streaming platform offers you the ability to stream your favorite music, podcasts, audiobooks, and radio stations from the internet. You have direct access to numerous music streaming services and their catalogs. Even MQA music data stored in studio quality, as offered by Tidal, for example, can be played. In addition, you can browse your personal music libraries via your local LAN or Wi-Fi network and enjoy your songs and albums in lossless quality, integrate the SOUNDBAR+ via Apple AirPlay 2, or play back music stored on your smartphone via Bluetooth® aptX™ HD.
MULTI-ROOM PLAYBACK
Connect the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ with other Bluesound players to stream music perfectly in sync across different rooms. Alternatively, any Bluesound player on the network can be controlled with a different stream, for example, to listen to children's songs in the dining room and the latest Ed Sheeran album in the bathroom.
Sub+ Product Description
The compact PULSE SUB+ active subwoofer is largely similar to its predecessor in size and shape, but otherwise, everything has been redesigned. For the first time, the PULSE SUB+ is integrated into the home network as an independent player, just like other Bluesound products. Assignment to the desired speaker—like most other settings—is conveniently and centrally managed via the BluOS™ app installed on a smartphone, tablet, PC, or Mac. A cable connection, aside from the power cord, is therefore no longer necessary, though it is still possible via the SUB+'s RCA input if desired.
Also new is the woofer, which is now significantly larger with a 200 mm diameter, and the amplifier, which is considerably more powerful with 200 watts of peak power. The driver, with its particularly light and rigid polypropylene diaphragm, and the amplifier are perfectly matched with the help of the integrated digital signal processor, ensuring punchy, dynamic bass reproduction in small to medium-sized living spaces.
Bluesound has retained the versatile placement options for the PULSE SUB+: Thanks to its cabinet depth of just under 15 cm, it can be hung on the wall in addition to standard placements, hidden inconspicuously behind a curtain, or placed under the sofa. A wall mount is included in the delivery.
HOME CINEMA SOUND WITH RICH BASS
While the PULSE SOUNDBAR 2i is impressive on its own with powerful and energetic bass reproduction, in combination with the PULSE SUB+, the front home cinema speaker becomes a full-fledged home cinema system that can be further expanded with two PULSE FLEX 2i speakers for surround channels. Like the SOUNDBAR 2i, the PULSE SUB+ is most easily controlled via the BluOS™ Controller app.
FEEL THE BASS
Relieve your PULSE SOUNDBAR 2i from reproducing low frequencies so that your home cinema sounds even more powerful and balanced. As soon as the PULSE SUB+ is connected, bass signals are transmitted wirelessly from the soundbar to the SUB+. With 150 watts of continuous power and a 200 mm woofer, the PULSE SUB+ ensures deep, dynamic bass reproduction.

Thanks to its compact design and wireless control, you can easily place the PULSE SUB+ anywhere in your living room. No matter where it is located, the SUB+ will always impress you with a powerful bass foundation.

After downloading the BluOS™ Controller app to your smartphone or tablet, you can immediately control the PULSE SUB+. Whether it's the right volume or phase, you can adjust the subwoofer exactly how you want to experience bass reproduction in your room.
