The player's heavy steel chassis houses a Rotel-developed drive mechanism specialized exclusively for Compact Disc playback. The CD11MKII's smooth loading mechanism, precision laser pickup, and silent motor controller ensure seamless, worry-free playback of your CD collection.

Digital-to-analog conversion is handled by a premium Texas Instruments PCM5102A 32-bit/384kHz DAC, which works with custom-tuned digital low-pass filters. This design, which prioritizes sound quality, reproduces music on a large, open soundstage with exceptional detail, precision, and finesse.

A linear power supply feeds isolated outputs for the CD motor controller and critical audio circuits, reducing noise and distortion and ensuring even the smallest details of your CD collection are reproduced.

Intuitive front-panel CD controls and the included remote control ensure simple operation. The graphical front-panel display shows playback status and CD metadata, including title and artist.

The CD11MKII can be used as a disc transport via the digital coaxial output. A 12V trigger input and an RS232 connection on the rear panel allow for seamless integration into even the most complex systems.
