The Peacock is Sendy Audio's latest headphone. After causing a stir with the AIVA, the manufacturer now presents an even more sophisticated model that will impress even the most demanding listeners.

Sendy Audio optimized the diaphragm over two years of development to achieve an ideal compromise between stability and weight. They succeeded in making it so thin and light that frequencies up to 40 kHz are no problem for the Peacock, while maintaining high power handling and impulsivity.

The Peacock utilizes Quad-Former technology. The magnetostatic driver consists of double magnets plus dual coil sides on the diaphragm plus double coils on each side of the diaphragm. These four coils in total on each side of the diaphragm ensure that the diaphragm produces the same vibration everywhere at the same frequency. The double-sided magnet ensures uniform magnetic force in the field. The result is excellent magnetic energy conversion, good consistency, and low distortion, which provide for excellent music reproduction capabilities. This creates a feeling of listening to music as if at a live concert.

The housing itself is precisely CNC-machined, ensuring a vibration-free and optimal working environment for the diaphragm and coils. The gold-plated (24K) grille is a clever design element and gave the Peacock its name, as it resembles a fanned-out peacock tail. It is surrounded by a cleanly sanded, lacquered, and polished wooden shell, which gives every Peacock a special tactile feel and look. The ear cushions ensure excellent wearing comfort and are easily replaceable.

An approx. 2 m long, very high-quality braided cable is included with the headphones. The headphone connection is a 4.4 mm Pentaconn plug, which can be adapted to 4-pin XLR or 6.3 mm jack using the included adapters to allow connection to all high-quality headphone amplifiers.
