The 411 II is specifically designed for MC cartridges with low internal impedance (< 15 ohms). It amplifies the signal passively (without a power supply) and ensures that it is passed on with minimal loss and without tonal coloration.

Inside, it features a toroidal transformer with a Supermalloy core, which enables extremely low losses and very clean signal transmission. As a result, the signature character of the cartridge is fully preserved.

The 411 II is frequently used in combination with high-quality Shelter MC cartridges such as the 501, 901, or Harmony.
