The SME Model 35 is an absolute top-tier high-end turntable and is positioned directly below the flagship Model 60. It replaces the long-standing reference model, the Model 30, and incorporates many technologies from the latest SME generation.

At its core is a completely redesigned construction with a tri-column assembly, which ensures exceptional stability and effective vibration control. This design combines a decoupled sub-chassis with multiple isolation, minimizing both vertical and horizontal disturbances.

A central technical highlight is the hydraulically damped main bearing, which significantly improves the rotational stability of the platter and contributes to an extremely smooth operation.

The Model 35 is also equipped with the new SME Series VA tonearm. It is made of a high-density polymer material (rather than metal), which further reduces resonances and allows for particularly precise tracking.

In terms of sound, the Model 35 belongs to the absolute reference class:
