The STAX SR-X9000 is the new top-of-the-line model from STAX. It has been completely redeveloped and delivers a captivating sound experience that places listeners directly into the musical action. The STAX SR-X9000 offers an extraordinary musical experience. It impresses with its vivid sound image, which combines precise bass reproduction with superb transparency and dynamics. It is not without reason that the Japanese manufacturer refers to its models as "earspeakers" ...

For the SR-X9000, STAX has developed a new electrode whose mesh structure features higher rigidity. Compared to the previous top model, the STAX SR-009S, STAX has increased the area of the diaphragm by 20%. Thanks to the simultaneous weight reduction, the SR-X9000 achieves excellent transient characteristics and realizes an extremely broadband sound field.

Vibration-damping housing made of rigid aluminum

The housings of the driver units are elaborately crafted from robust aluminum. This new design firmly fixes the sound unit and completely eliminates unnecessary vibrations.

The anti-reflection grille design

STAX has also redeveloped the protective grille of the SR-X9000. Unlike the classic version installed parallel to the sound unit, the new protective grille features pillars of varying heights at the front and back. This varies the height of the gap between the transducer and the protective grille, which eliminates any reflections. The result is a completely clear, transparent sound image.

Stainless steel headband assembly with 9-step click adjustment system

The STAX SR-X9000 adapts smoothly to the user's ears, as it features a new headband assembly that is significantly more resistant to torsion. The I-shaped stabilizer on top of the headband assembly eliminates vibrations almost entirely.

Comfortable ear pads for long-lasting listening pleasure

For the comfortable and well-fitting ear pads, STAX uses high-quality, extra-soft lambskin. This features excellent breathability and ensures that the SR-X9000 sits snugly yet completely comfortably on the ears, even over long periods. Fatigue is thus excluded and replaced by undisturbed musical enjoyment.

STAX original low-capacity wide hybrid cable

The cores of the classic Stax connection cable, with its six parallel conductors, consist of silver-plated 6N high-purity copper, a copper wire of the highest purity. The cable entries are angled forward for ergonomic reasons and allow for optimal adjustment to the head.

Elegant storage case made of Paulownia wood

The high-quality storage case made of Paulownia wood is the ideal storage solution for the new STAX SR-X9000. The material has low thermal conductivity and excellent moisture regulation.

All STAX headphones and in-ear monitors are electrostatic units operating on the push-pull principle. Due to their operating principle, they require a STAX driver amplifier to function.
