The transducers in the Lambda SR-L700 MK2, which are of an even higher quality than those in the Lambda SR-L500 MK2, are even more closely related to the transducers in the top-of-the-line STAX SR-009S model. Driver unit: Stax SRM-700S

STAX has never chased short-lived trends, and by replacing the SRM-007t II and SRM-727 II driver units, which have been successful since 2006, STAX remains true to itself and this motto. Both new driver units, the SRM-700T and SRM-700S, benefit from technologies found in the flagship SRM-T8000: In the new SRM-700S solid-state driver unit, STAX employs custom low-noise dual FETs in the first amplification stage. For the first time ever in a STAX driver unit, J-FETs have been implemented in the second amplification stage. J-FETs are suitable for particularly low-noise amplification of even the most power-hungry transducers.
