Hand-crafted in Japan

From Oyster to Reference, every Sumiko phono cartridge is crafted by hand in Yokohama, Japan – near the waters where the oysters for which they are named reside. Sumiko selects the finest materials by ear, which together yield a performance that has enlightened generations of listeners. Each design is thoroughly tested until perfected. Production is then carried out by world-class artisans with a collective eye for precision and quality.
