While developing the Statement series, our engineers quickly realised that they needed a completely new range of high-performance cables to fully unlock the enormous potential of the reference amplifiers.

Thus, a project was launched to develop signal and speaker cables at the Statement level. Our deep expertise in materials science, combined with thousands of hours in the listening room, eventually led to the Super Lumina series.

The Super Lumina signal cables live up to the extraordinary performance level of the Statement amplifiers, but also provide an astonishing improvement in sound quality when used with 500 Series and Classic components. The variants for connecting source components to amplifiers are available in DIN-to-DIN, DIN-to-RCA, RCA-to-RCA and RCA-to-XLR configurations, while the cables for connecting preamplifiers and power amplifiers come in DIN-to-XLR and XLR-to-XLR configurations.

Features
Super Lumina cables are designed to minimise the impact of external and internal interference on the audio signal. For this reason, the cable is constructed from individually insulated, silver-plated copper conductors of varying diameters, with a tinned copper braid. The soft, vibration-damping outer jacket also makes it easy to install. The signal, return and ground conductors, as well as the shielding, were each specifically developed for use in the Super Lumina.

The Naim Air-PLUG

Super Lumina signal cables use an advanced version of the patented Air-PLUG technology first introduced in the Hi-Line. All DIN and XLR variants are equipped with Air-PLUG connectors, which decouple the cable from the connected device, thereby preventing sound quality degradation caused by microphony.

The articulating rear section of the new Super Lumina Air-PLUG consists of interconnected aluminium rings. Both the structure and the material of this design reduce the transmission of vibrations. The pins of the DIN variant are free-floating to further minimise any signal degradation at the point where it is transferred to the electronics.
