During the development of the Statement series, our engineers quickly realized that they needed a completely new range of high-performance cables to fully exploit the enormous potential of the reference amplifiers.

Thus, a project was launched to develop signal and speaker cables at the Statement level. Our high level of expertise in materials science, combined with thousands of hours in the listening room, ultimately led to the Super Lumina series.

The Super Lumina signal cables live up to the extraordinary performance level of the Statement amplifiers, but also provide an astonishing increase in sound quality when used with 500 series and Classic components. The variants for connecting source devices and amplifiers are available in DIN/DIN, DIN/RCA, RCA/RCA, and RCA/XLR configurations, while the cables for connecting preamplifiers and power amplifiers are available in DIN/XLR and XLR/XLR configurations.

Features
Super Lumina cables have been developed to minimize the influence of external and internal interference on the audio signal. For this reason, the cable is constructed from individually insulated, silver-plated copper strands of varying diameters and a tinned copper shield. Thanks to the soft, vibration-damping outer sheath, it is also easy to install. The signal, return, and ground conductors, as well as the shielding, have each been specifically developed for use in Super Lumina.

The Naim Air-PLUG

The Super Lumina signal cables use an advanced version of the patented Air-PLUG technology first used in the Hi-Line. All DIN and XLR variants are equipped with Air-PLUG connectors that decouple the cable from the connected device, thus preventing sound quality degradation caused by microphonics.

The articulated rear section of the new Super Lumina Air-PLUG consists of interconnected aluminum rings. Both the structure and the material of this construction reduce the transmission of vibrations. The contact pins of the DIN variant are floatingly mounted to further reduce signal degradation at the point where it is transferred to the electronics.
