The Surround Be loudspeakers are the ideal complement for a 5.1 or multi-channel home cinema system: 6.1, 7.1, etc. They have been designed to reproduce surround effects and loud or powerful sounds, such as explosions or collisions, as faithfully as possible. These unobtrusive, easy-to-mount wall speakers allow for the reproduction of complex film soundtracks without taking up your entire living room back wall.

The Surround Be benefit from a "Bi/Twin" design with two inputs on the connection terminal, allowing the loudspeaker to be used in either a 5.1 configuration (bipolar mode) or a 7.1 configuration (dual-monopolar mode). This exclusive Focal feature makes it possible to reduce the number of surround speakers required in your home cinema room.

The Surround Be are equipped with the same technologies as the speakers in the Sopra, Utopia III, and Electra 1000 Be 2 ranges: "W" cones and pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeters. Consequently, they offer coherent performance in terms of dispersion, efficiency, and soundstage. The sound image of your home cinema system is thus absolutely coherent: a sound moving from one side of the screen to the other is reproduced without any change in timbre.
