The Takumi Kuro MC is a high-quality moving-coil cartridge from the Takumi series – designed to retrieve music from vinyl with high detail, precise tracking, and spatial clarity. It is part of Takumi High End’s MC cartridge line and offers finer resolution and a more dynamic performance compared to simpler cartridges.

The Kuro is musically balanced, with a focus on improved detail reproduction and transparency in the soundstage. Thanks to a rigid boron cantilever and a clean elliptical diamond, it delivers crisp transients and a stable stereo image, even during complex passages – without sounding clinical or cold.
