The Takumi TT Level 2.1 is a high-quality turntable aimed at discerning vinyl enthusiasts. Its concept focuses on the most unadulterated and precise sound reproduction possible. The minimalist design is not just a visual choice but primarily serves to reduce vibrations and interference factors. The combination of carefully selected materials and precise manufacturing results in a very calm and detailed sound character.

The chassis is made of CNC-milled acrylic, which is known for its excellent damping properties. The sub-platter is crafted from solid aluminum, while the bearing uses a ceramic spindle with a brass bushing to minimize friction. The turntable rests on a three-point, height-adjustable foot system with integrated damping, as well as a built-in spirit level for precise leveling.

The unit is driven by a belt drive with a decoupled DC motor housed in its own enclosure. A sensor-based feedback system continuously monitors the rotational speed and automatically corrects deviations, ensuring very constant playback. The platter runs with low vibration, and it is intentionally used without a mat so that the record lies directly on the acrylic, reducing resonances.

The tonearm is made of lightweight yet rigid titanium and features a gimbal bearing to allow for particularly low-friction movement. Settings such as tonearm height (VTA), azimuth, and anti-skating can be precisely adjusted. The permanently integrated headshell ensures optimal signal transmission without additional contact points.

The signal is output via a permanently connected, shielded phono cable with dual grounding, which minimizes interference. Overall, the Takumi TT Level 2.1 is technically designed to consistently control vibrations and deliver the cleanest, most detailed reproduction possible. It is therefore particularly suitable for users who have high demands for sound quality and are willing to engage more intensively with the setup and adjustment of a turntable.
