The 211 SE Power Monoblock was born as the successor to other members of the ThivanLabs 211 Single-Ended family, inheriting the achievements of its older brothers in their entirety. The ThivanLabs 211 Single-Ended collection includes the following.

The amplifier’s design features a typical Bauhaus form and construction that we have defined for ThivanLabs products. This design school prioritizes functionality and minimalism, creating a luxurious look. Consequently, it easily fits into many interior styles in a listening room and can be harmoniously combined with other equipment. The combination of wood and metal with bright colors and square lines gives the device contrast and strong forms.

The 211 Power Monoblock amplifier is designed with a single-ended circuit. Due to the emotional timbre that this circuit design brings, single-ended has always been a popular choice for sound engineers and audiophiles. The amplifier is divided into two blocks, one for each channel with a separate power supply, to ensure maximum reduction of crosstalk noise for the amplifier. Behind the amplifier chassis are integrated RCA/Balanced selector switches and input sensitivity switches for convenient connection of various devices.

This model features Thivanlabs’ typical electronic engineering design, using super-heavy output transformers (OPTs) and extra-large paper-in-oil capacitors (PIOs). Each OPT of the 211 SE Power Monoblock weighs up to 11 kg. Eight super-large PIOs are used for the two channels. Furthermore, the power supply chokes in the amplifiers are also super large. These solutions ensure high efficiency, ample power for the driver tubes, and very low noise levels. All of our amplifiers operate in Class A and without feedback. A great advantage of our amplifiers is that thanks to the auto-bias mode, users can directly replace the amplifier’s tubes with corresponding tubes from other brands without having to calibrate the amplifier.

The 211 Power Monoblock works well with low-sensitivity speakers thanks to its peak power of 56 W (28 W RMS). Since this amplifier is not picky about the preamplifier it is to be paired with, the combination with a wide variety of other preamplifiers is a great advantage for the user. We recommend pairing it with ThivanLabs preamplifiers to achieve the optimal tube sound characteristics.
