Flamingo 300B

Among the types of tubes used in the audio field, the 300B is very popular due to its magical, sweet, gentle, and seductive sound. ThivanLabs has studied the sonic characteristics of the 300B for many years to maximize its performance and sound quality. Many configurations have been tested and developed in stages thus far.

Released in 2022, the Flamingo 300B is the newest member and the 15th version developed to date in ThivanLabs' 300B amplifier line. Typical circuit designs for the 300B that have already been realized include push-pull circuits up to 28W, single-ended circuits up to 8W, designed as integrated or power amplifiers, as stereo or monoblock units.

The Flamingo 300B inherits many of the technical developments that ThivanLabs has achieved over many years. The new version is a single-ended design with two 300B tubes for the output stage and 12AU7, 6SN7, 6V6 tubes for the pre-amplifier stage.

With an output power of 8W, this single-ended construction effectively utilizes the sound quality of the 300B for emotional music. The outstanding sonic characteristic of the Flamingo 300B is a clear image, warm and emotional timbre, especially with slow, lyrical, and emotional tracks.
