The Grand Preamplifier has been enhanced in terms of high-end performance and product perfection, featuring 5 inputs and 3 outputs, one of which is the newly added full-balance XLR connection, allowing for easy connection to other devices. The entire circuit design of the Grand Pre has been researched to optimize audio signal transmission, a benefit inherited from ThivanLabs' previous successful Pre versions to authentically convey music.

This latest pre-tube product reproduces a more powerful and solid sound thanks to the use of separate power sources for different amplification stages. Audio signal processing is thus complete and highly effective. The noise index reaches its lowest value, resulting in a quiet and pure background and improved detail reproduction.

The Grand Pre is capable of expressing different musical colors in the best possible way and improving the sound quality of medium-sized systems through to large high-end setups. This preamplifier can be combined with all high-end tube and transistor power amplifiers available on the market.

Like ThivanLabs' amplifiers and DAC products, the Grand PreAmp uses an output transformer (OPT) that isolates the amplifier stages to produce a smooth, soothing sound. A well-controlled sound offers impressive performances not only of lyrical, vocal, jazz music ... but also of highly dynamic and detailed music such as symphonies, instruments, trios/quartets ... The Grand PreAmp is an essential member of an audio system, both to improve sound quality and to conveniently control volume, as it is connected to an amplifier that reproduces high-quality sound.

The Grand Preamp comes with a remote control that has all the functions: volume control in up to 1000 steps, channel selection, and on/off buttons.

OUTPUT: ThivanLabs products are characterized by a bright output combined with a transformer in a single-ended circuit to produce a rich and soft sound.

POWER SOURCES: Thoroughly invested in design and manufacturing with passive components such as high-quality chokes and capacitors to provide clean and powerful energy for the amplifier circuit.

- A separate power source is used for each amplification stage to keep the noise index at the lowest level, create a stable and pure background, and improve sound details.

CONTROL: A remote control with all functions: volume control, input and output selection, on/off button.

VOLUME: Controlled by the remote up to 1000 steps, 0.1dB/step and many other options for flexible volume control. High-quality Dale resistors and NEC relays ensure a clean and detailed sound.

- Minimalist circuit design with high-quality components.

- The 6SN7 tube is placed in the output to improve sound detail and density and to effectively support stage performance.

- The sound is well-controlled and balanced between frequency bands; it is therefore easy to coordinate with different systems, from tube amplifiers to modern transistor amplifiers.
