The Tube Center Preamp TCP-5 offers an all-tube signal path from input to output, using only dedicated audio triodes and a power supply with a built-in isolation transformer. The influence of magnetic stray flux is eliminated by separate main and power supply chassis. The exclusive toroidal transformer is housed in the power supply chassis and thus completely separated from unwanted interference. In addition, the low-impedance power supply circuit consists of chokes and oil capacitors (PIO), which allow for good presence and sound texture.

It has 2 phono inputs (1 MM RIAA phono and 1 MC phono with MC step-up transformer) and 3 line-level inputs (2 RCA and 1 XLR).

The outputs are fully balanced on XLR or single-ended on RCA. Almost any type of record pressing (vintage or modern, mono or stereo) can be compensated for easily, quickly, and correctly. The TCP-5 can be used with virtually any cartridge and is capable of driving almost any tube or transistor power amplifier to ensure precise, dynamic music reproduction.
