The X10 Anniversary Preamplifier is one of the preamp versions in ThivanLabs' 10th Anniversary product line. This is an upgrade to ThivanLabs' successful Pre X10, released 5 years ago. This tube preamplifier product is sold at a reasonable price but features all the technical advancements of the high-end preamplifier line and successful technical modifications from previous preamplifier products.

The Pre X10 Anniversary features 5 inputs and 2 outputs, plus an additional full-balanced XLR output, allowing for simple and flexible connections with other equipment. The audio signal transmission design of the Pre X10 is optimized for the authentic transmission of music recordings.

This latest tube preamplifier product offers a more detailed and musical sound thanks to the use of separate power supplies for different amplification stages. Audio signal processing is thus complete and highly effective. The noise floor reaches its lowest value, resulting in a quiet, pure background and improved sound detail.

One of ThivanLabs' design goals for tube preamps is the ability to optimally express the varying colors of music and to improve the sound quality of mid-sized systems up to large, high-end systems. This preamplifier can be combined with any high-end tube or solid-state amplifier on the market.

Like ThivanLabs' amplifier and tube DAC products, the Pre X10 Anniversary uses an Output Transformer (OPT) to isolate the amplifier stages, creating a pleasant, soothing sound. A well-controlled sound provides impressive performances not only of lyrical, vocal, jazz, and blues music, but also powerful performances of highly dynamic and detailed music such as symphonies, instrumental pieces, trio-quartets… The Grand PreAmp is an indispensable member of any audio system. It serves both to improve sound quality and to provide convenient volume control, as it connects to an amplifier that reproduces high-quality tube sound.

Highlights of the Pre X10 Anniversary:
