The van den Hul Colibri XGW Grand Cru is a hand-built high-end MC cartridge and represents the pinnacle of the renowned Colibri series. It combines a high-quality koa wood body with a special Stradivarius lacquer coating to minimize resonance and provide excellent mechanical behavior. This is complemented by an advanced magnetic design with an additional magnet to improve resolution and channel separation.

The precisely tuned VDH-1S stylus (2 × 85 µm) on a high-quality boron cantilever ensures very stable groove tracking and detailed music reproduction across an extremely wide frequency spectrum. Thanks to the various optional output voltage variants, the cartridge can be perfectly adapted to different phono and amplifier combinations. Overall, the Colibri XGW Grand Cru represents the audiophile peak of the resulting engineering and craftsmanship in van den Hul's long tradition of high-quality cartridges.
