The Van den Hul Crimson XGW is a hand-built high-end moving coil cartridge with excellent sound quality and audiophile performance. It combines van den Hul's expertise from models such as The Canary and The Condor into a sophisticated MC cartridge with an open, low-resonance design. The XGW model is particularly characterized by a wooden body that controls mechanical resonances and contributes to the natural timbre.

In terms of sound, the Crimson XGW impresses with high resolution, clear dynamics, and very good channel separation, which enables a detailed, spatially precise playback. The combination of VDH-1S stylus shape, long-crystal gold coils, and samarium-cobalt magnet ensures a vivid, musical performance.

Typical for van den Hul: every cartridge is handcrafted, individually tested, and comes with a 200-hour service check-up for the original owner, which guarantees longevity and precision.
