The Velodyne SPL-X 15 is a high-performance, high-end subwoofer designed for demanding home theater and music systems. It uses a 15-inch driver with a carbon fiber cone and a 4-inch voice coil, supported by a triple ferrite magnet system. The sealed enclosure made of high-density fiberboard ensures precise bass reproduction without distracting resonances.

The integrated Class-D amplifier delivers 1500 watts RMS and up to 2000 watts peak power. The frequency response ranges from 15 to 250 Hz, with a usable range of ±3 dB between 22 and 180 Hz. DSP control enables precise room correction, which can be performed automatically using an included microphone. Additionally, the subwoofer can be controlled via an app, which allows for convenient adjustment of filters, equalization, phase, and volume from the listening position.

With XLR and RCA connections as well as a 6-band parametric equalizer, the SPL-X 15 is suitable for both home theater and professional applications.
