The VPI Avenger Plus features an upgraded Fatboy tonearm, a peripheral ring, a speedbox, and a rim-drive mechanism. For those looking for an evolution of the Avenger but not quite ready for the Avenger Reference, the Avenger Plus is exactly what it promises. An Avenger "plus" with some solid upgrades that make it an evolution of the standard Avenger. Based on the engineering of our massive Titan turntable, we have integrated the Harry Weisfeld Signature rim-drive motor. Thanks to improved technology, it is now even more user-friendly than ever before and features an adjustable knob for moving the rim-drive mechanism, which is powered by the included Analog Drive System. Additionally, the tonearm receives an upgrade: the JMW 12-3DR with Nordost Reference wire and a peripheral ring clamp.

The VPI Avenger chassis consists of three layers of acrylic/aluminum/acrylic, with damping material between the layers. The connection is made via three isolated steel corner posts, three bolts, and the massive bearing assembly. The corner posts, which hold the tonearms (up to three fit), feature adjustable knobs that allow the user to easily adjust the height of the table. The fully adjustable tonearm boards are made of 5/8-inch thick 6061 aluminum for stability and secure mounting. The table can accommodate up to three tonearms of any manufacturer and length!
