EMI/RFI/Impulse Noise

One of the biggest problems for digital audio systems is the degradation of sound due to noise. EMI (Electromagnetic Interference), RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), and impulse noise are the primary sources of digital noise.

Waversa has invested a great deal of time in researching this problem and has developed a patented passive filter technology to effectively reduce these forms of signal distortion, thereby improving the quality of digital signals and the sound quality of audio and video. Easy to Install

WEXT2 is also incredibly easy to integrate into your system. Place the device between your source and the endpoint, using the longer cable from the source to the WEXT2 and a short cable (no longer than 30 cm) between the WEXT2 and the endpoint. Its compact size and light weight take up very little space.

Measuring Overshoots and Undershoots

Digital signals are time-domain voltage differences that indicate a value. Voltage overshoots and undershoots in a digital signal circuit can lead to sound degradation. By using Waversa's patented isolation technology, these overshoots and undershoots are significantly minimized, which greatly improves signal integrity and preserves the resolution inherent in the recording.
