Bringing together what belongs together

The more network devices accumulate in your system, the more important a good connection becomes. Acting as both a USB 2.0 hub and a Gigabit Ethernet hub, the Waversa WsmartHub 3.0 connects four network and three USB components (2x USB-A, 1x USB-B) with one another.

But that's not all: it also diligently cleans the signals of digital artifacts, with each port featuring its own filter. A high-precision OXCO oscillator monitors data synchronization (re-clocking), which effectively eliminates data fluttering—the notorious jitter. You can switch the ports on or off, and operate them in 100M or 1000M, full-duplex or half-duplex mode.

Above all, the switch draws its power ultra-cleanly from four rechargeable, automatically monitored lithium-ion batteries with a charge indicator, decoupling the signals from the potentially harmful influences of the power grid. And when the batteries are empty, the device switches to its internal linear power supply.

In addition, you can configure the WsmartHub 3.0 as a renderer/streaming bridge via DLNA or in Roon Bridge mode*. This means that any non-streaming-capable USB DAC can be transformed into a Roon streaming endpoint when connected to the WSmartHub 3.0—clever!
